Selling at a livestock auction in the Philippines
Most cattle, carabao and goats here are sold by liveweight, so a good scale reading and the right papers make the day go smoothly.
Papers for moving animals
Moving live animals between provinces usually needs a veterinary health certificate and a shipping permit from the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) or your provincial veterinary office. Ask them before you load.
Disease controls
African swine fever (ASF) and bird flu controls can stop the movement of pigs and poultry from some areas at short notice. Check the latest BAI notices for your province.
Watch the scales
Be there when your animals are weighed, keep the weigh slip, and agree on any shrink or deductions before the sale, not after.

How do I sell something on the marketplace?
Sign in, open the REALM Marketplace and choose Sell. Pick the country, add photos and details, and pay the one-time listing fee. There is no subscription. Go to the marketplace →
What is a Listing ID?
Every listing gets a unique Listing ID (for example RLM-PH-123). Type it into the marketplace search box to jump straight to the listing.
How do I contact a seller?
Open the listing and unlock the seller’s contact details, or contact our support team with the Listing ID and we’ll pass the seller’s details to you free of charge, usually within 1 business day. Free seller contact request →
